Personally, you might as well get the Iphone. You can get the 32 gb for about $300. I don't know why people would spend a minimum of $499 for an Ipad. I tried one out and bought it, and took it back the next day. Plus, there's no camera. What a waste of money!

This thoughtful report by a man with low vision patients had a chance to test it, especially with regard to the contrast it offeres (very good) and said that it had appealed to some who had not used computers.

Dorrie Rush, partially sighted, has her say about the iPad on her blog, Dorrie's Sight". She likes it. Did she buy it? I don't know. Where and how might she use it? Not clear. What about the connectivity needed to use it? Not described. Extra costs involved?
