Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss

Looking for beta testers for website for users with visual impairment

Hello everyone,

I am looking for people who are willing to test the website I have created as part of my graduation thesis. It is a website that lets you search for Linked Data, a rising technology in the World Wide Web, and allows quick and (hopefully) easy access to all kinds of information. It is intended to be a tool for both private and job-related online research, and is specifically designed for users with visual impairments. You can go directly to http://www.accessiblerdf.de and try it. It might be helpful to read about the concept of Linked Data and RDF before you dive into the website. I have collected some helpful texts and links on the Help page, which you can find in the navigation on the top of the page. It would be a great help for me if you would fill out the survey (also linked in the navigation), or if you sent any comments you might have to me directly. My email is sebastian dot muller at uta dot fi.

Thank you very much for your collaboration.

Best wishes,
Sebastian
