Re:National HelpDesk for computer problems

hi. a it student doing a it online help desk course from http://www.oten.edu.au, but finding it hard to find easy to install, easy to use, accessible help desk software. what i want to do is to set up a log job, and enter customer details, and their problem, priority of the log, and then escalate it to a it professional. a lot of the help desk software on the net, needs to use php, or a server. well do not have a server, just my own main windows vista home preimum box on a toshiba a300 satellite laptop. and a external hard disk drive. so is there any accessible help desk software that i could access on the web. any one used either desktop or web based help desk, and if so, let me know via startrekcafe@gmail.com to complete a assignment. a lot of problems finding good accessible, simple to use. a lot of the help desk, qite complex. and not experienced in setting up, php, and other servers. just want some thing off the shelf i can use. and oh i do not have a credit card, so a paid version, is out of the question. if any one has had the same problem, let me know. marvin from tasmania, australia.
