Perkins Brailler

Do any of you use this? What do you think of it? Is it pretty easy to use? I have to get some kind of writing device, I am new to low vision, but I do not know which to get. This seems like the most basic/classic choice, but if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

I use the Perkins braille machine to make Braille reading lessons for my students. I know that most of the blind students in the county school system use it as well. The Perkiins brailler is heavy but pretty indestructable. There is an electric model which saves the stress on your wrists. The following link will connect you to the Perkins web site,
